- Add 10Gb Ethernet to USB-C Devices: Upgrade wired networking with this USB C to 10GbE RJ45 Ethernet adapter. Supports 10gb/5gb/2.5gb/1000MB auto-negotiation. Note: 10Gb is the theoretical link rate; real-world Windows throughput is typically 9Gbps depending on setup. For best results, use a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20Gbps) USB-C port or higher. Make sure to use CAT6 & up Ethernet cables to reach 10Gbps
- Plug-and-Play Support: Works with Windows, Linux, macOS, and Thunderbolt devices. Driver installation may be required depending on system version. Updating to the latest driver ensures stable performance and optimal throughput for your 10G network. After the first time you plug it in, please be patient and wait 10-20 seconds to let the system finish loading the driver in the background. LED indicator shows status at a glance
- Compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4/5 and USB4 ports: On Macs, macOS real-world throughput is over 5Gbps depending on the Mac model, network equipment, cabling, and test method. We continuously validate macOS performance and publish the latest notes and updates on our support page
- Aluminum Housing: With a rugged aluminum housing plus integrated a heat sink, the Realtek RTL8159 USB 10G controller is designed for efficient power use and minimal heat in typical operation. At full load, the measured temperature is roughly 42C. Suitable for large file transfers, video editing, live streaming gaming sessions and other continuous high-speed networking condition
- Wake-on-LAN Support: Supported features include Wake-on-LAN function. With lightweight design, it is suitable for commuters, business travelers, students, and anyone who needs reliable wired internet (99*42*22mm)
- Backward Compatibility: The adapter is backward compatible and will function at 1Gbps or 100Mbps speeds when connected to slower networks or routers, ensuring versatility across different network infrastructures
