It is designed to slightly lengthen the height of your ice chute and also taper/direct the ice cubes towards the center so that they actually land in your cup. Sold for years but now available on Amazon. Easily installs with 2-sided tape in just a few seconds. Only reduces your clearance for glasses and water bottles below by ~1" (25 mm) but so worth it. Stop the shooting ice. Love your fridge again!
